Individual & Family Sacred Death Care Sessions

Sacred Crossings End of Life Care

Two Free Group Sessions offered Monthly

Madbury Death Café

A Death Café is a group led discussion about experiences, thoughts, and perspectives about death and dying, held in a safe space with a facilitator (me!) who will ensure that everyone who wants to speak is given the time to do so. There is no advice offered, assigned topics, or guidance shared and the discussions follow guidelines that are universal to Death Cafe’s throughout the United States and world.

And there will be cake!

The Departure Lounge: Conversations for the Living and Leaving

Although listening is one of my strong suits, staying silent is not when it comes to helping and healing, as I am eager, or “dying” as the case may be, to share my wisdom. These gatherings about death and dying, will allow the group to choose from offered topics, encourage open discussions, and can also offer resources, thoughts, guidance, and suggestions. (which death cafes strictly prohibit).

Refreshments will be served.

Grief doesn’t want to be solved. It wants to be held. Sat with. Witnessed. It shows up like a tide, sometimes soft, sometimes devastating... What you’re carrying is sacred. It’s the shape of love after a loss

Individual & Family Sacred Death Care Sessions

Western medicine and hospice care beautifully embrace the mind and body, the emotional and the physical, but not the soul. There is no fault or blame there; we simply haven’t been given the tools to understand the depth of importance in knowing and caring for the beautiful soul piece.

Until now.

There are very real, non-physical experiences that the soul encounters. Sarah Kerr, founder of the Centre of Sacred Deathcare, describes Sacred Death Care as “giving language and structure to the non-ordinary experiences around dying, death, and dead people. It provides a framework for understanding the spiritual dynamics of death and loss, and offers practical healing tools to help navigate these experiences with grace and ease.”

An individual or family session helps to name what is true and create a guiding path to soul level healing. It is for anyone who is struggling with an impending death or one that has happened already, even many years ago.

Sacred Crossings End of Life Services

Every death is different, and even those who have escorted a loved one to the next realm will have a different view when it is their turn to go. Even though our bodies know how to die, many people struggle emotionally with organizing, letting go, and saying good-bye.

Sacred Crossings offers the perfect blend of hospice medical knowledge (from my work in hospice as an RN), emotional end-of-life support (which is my passion), and soul-based Sacred Death Care wisdom (a very rare soul-based approach to the dying process).

This service offers tighter communication, care and support-both emotional and physical, encouragement, and a dependable resource.

All services except physical care can be offered via a combination of onsite or virtual connections.
