Tracy's Tuesday Oil Tips for focus

Tracy vs Social media: Who’s winning? You be the judge.

Tracy vs Social media: Who’s winning? You be the judge.

I did this amazing test online to find my primary and secondary archetype. It was fun to do, enlightening and pretty clearly explains why a “simple” blog entry or social media post ends up taking me hours. I want to share three of the results (so you can feel my pain):

“Your heart often feels pulled in so many different directions, because there are so many things you need to create. Sometimes, it verges on torturous.” (I am so tortured!!) “You are a perfectionist (it’s a great thing….until it isn’t)” (Is there a better graphic for this? Does this wording sound right? Are there any grammatical or spelling errrors? SEE!?! It’s important because you noticed!) and “you are a catalyst for creative energy and are highly sensitive to the hundreds of ideas that pass through your brain every day”. (Please refer back to the "“I’m tortured” comment.)

So when it comes to creating blog posts, event descriptions or social media posts, well, it takes me FOR-FREAKIN-EVER! But, I have oil support to get me in alignment and help me crank through the time/energy sucking things on my to do list.

My focus quadfecta. (I just made that word up…its like a ” trifecta” but with one more awesome piece)

I use InTune for focus… that keeps me from getting “squirreled”… on my temples and wrists and inhale it for good measure. The other three I put in my diffuser. Lemon for focus, Tangerine for creativity (because I just may not have enough, you never know) and Motivate (which I also affectionately refer to as my “Get $#!+ Done” blend) which keeps me going until the project is done. And done well.
